Growing customer awareness and more stringent regulations
increase the need for better monitoring throughout the product
lifecycle. Wether an enterprise is operating in chemical-, agro-,
food industry or the medical- and pharmaceutical sector, reliable
methods are needed to detect and measure specific compounds in its
products.
SENSEWELL aims to help achieve this goal by moving Surface Plasmon
Resonance (SPR) technology from specialized laboratories to the
industry.
SENSEWELL leverages the benefits of SPR technology by offering a
wide range of probes which offer the ability to measure the
concentration of chemical compounds, toxic residues, allergens,
hormones or even micro-organisms and virus particles in virtually
any type of sample both during- and after the manufacturing
process. In close collaboration with customers, SENSEWELL can also
develop tailored solutions ranging from practical handheld devices
to fully automated and integrated high-throughput systems.
SENSEWELL is a continuation of the activities of the MeBios Bio-sensor group of K.U. Leuven.
